The status of spa and health resort Ustroń obtained at the end of 19^th century. All the sanatorium objects are placed on the southern, well-insolated slopes of Beskid Śląski hills. The perfect localization is not the only advantage of the health resort, which apart from health care treatments offers also many other attractions regardless of a season – interesting cuisine, strolls along the mountain tourist routes in summer or skiing in winter.

Patients visiting our Health Resort have four spa objects belonging to Przedsiębiorstwo Uzdrowiskowego "Ustroń" S. A. at their disposal: "Równica", "Kos", "Narcyz" and "Rosomak" with overall number of 1325 places in single, double and larger rooms, as well as suites with full sanitary equipment, telephone connection, ground and satellite television.

All the spa objects have necessary architectural improvements designed for the comfort of the

disabled. The Ustroń Spa specializes in the treatment of rheumatic and motor organ diseases, circulatory, respiratory and nervous system diseases, diabetes and obesity.

The new “Rosomak” Oncological and Limfological Rehabilitation Center specializes in the rehabilitation of women after mastectomy. Our treatment includes rehabilitation procedures (hydrotherapy, massages, etc.), Simonton’s psychotherapy, education related to the anti-tumour diet and anti-oedema trainings. Highly qualified medical, nursery, psychotherapeutic and dietetic staff guarantee the recuperation of lost due to an illness aptitude and psychophysical recovery.

The “Narcyz” Spa contains the Psychotherapy Center which offers round-the-clock Neurosis Treatment Ward and the Neurosis Treatment Outpatient Clinic. The team of psychotherapists and psychologists offer diagnosis, therapy and treatment of various neuroses. The psychotherapy is carried out mainly in the psychodynamic style with the usage of well known psychodrama technique.

The main object of spa district in Ustroń is ultramodern Uzdrowiskowy Zakład Przyrodoleczniczy (Spa Natural Medicine Institute) joined by a passage with the “Równica” spa center which offers a variety of kinesitherapy, physiotherapy, balneotherapy, peloidotherapy and hydrotherapy treatments. Brine pools, baths and peat wrappings based on own sources are carried out about 6000 times per each day.

Our spa has also diagnostic rooms that enable caring out heart ultrasonography,  round-the-clock Holter’s EKG, as well as a variety of analytic and densitometric examinations.
